The CMRA is run by volunteers. Members are expected
to volunteer or provide volunteers whenever possible. There
are often small jobs that even out of town riders can do, such
as help put up or take down the dyno tent on a race weekend.

League Alberta District 8, Calgary
Since 1977, Alberta District 8 has been the non-profit
organization run by volunteers that organizes all Little League
Program's for the south side of Calgary. District 8 boundaries
also span west to Bragg Creek and south to Okotoks and includes
their surrounding communities. We provide the coordination of
baseball and softball programs for children ages of 5 to 18.

Medicine River Wildlife Centre, Spruce View
The Medicine River Wildlife Centre works to rehabilitate and release injured and orphaned wild animals from across Alberta. MRWC currently treats over 1200 animals annually. One very important facet of the mandate of MWRC is public education. The centre conducts numerous public education programs in our education facility, speaks to visitors to the centre, and presents informative programs in schools and nearby communities. |

The Missing Children Society of Canada (MCSC)
is a registered, national non-profit organization dedicated
to the search for runaway and abducted children. MCSC provides
a comprehensive Investigative Search Program, free of charge,
to assist police and searching parents in the active and ongoing
search for missing children. |

Hill Community Curling Club, Calgary
The ice area has six sheets and free span roofing
supported by laminated wood beams giving it a warm atmosphere.
Ten feet of walkway exists at the home end with seven at the
away end; providing the curler with plenty of space. Unrestricted
viewing is available on two levels. The upper level glassing
is "angled" to maximize good viewing from any position.
A conference room and self service bar also are available for
our users. |
