Began in Calgary, Canada as a flag and banner shop. One day
in 1990, Arlene, our beautiful and blonde president was asked
to make a jacket out of a flag. She just can't say "no" to a good idea. The jacket was made and Flagwear was born. This
respect for top of the mind marketing led Flagworks to take
on and master the corporate challenge. We design, custom manufacture,
market and distribute corporate programs. |
The
Flag Shop, Calgary
The first Flag Shop was opened in Vancouver, Canada in 1975.
Doreen Braverman was the founder. It was probably the first
specialty flag shop of its kind in the world. The product-line
has broadened over the years to include custom banners, a full
line of flag hardware, pins, crests, decals -- anything flag-related.
